Jack (John) Grealish
Castlepark, Ballybane, Galway and formerly of Ballintemple, Carnmore, Galway and Connolly Ave., Mervue, Galway.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy-Sean and Kathleen, his brother Pa, and his infant brother Martin.
On the 5th of December 2024 Jack slipped into his eternal reward which he truly deserved after an illness that he so bravely bore, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of The Claddagh Ward, UHG.
Devoted and much loved husband of Gerardine, and dearly loved father of Paul, Linda and Stephanie.
Jack will be fondly remembered and always missed by his heart broken family, his grandchildren Alanagh, Aoibhe, Michael, Kayla, Grace and Jamie, his mother-in-law Lil (Lowry), daughter-in-law Deirdre, sons-in-law Martin and Aiden, sisters Maura, Rena, and Collette, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Jack will repose at Mervue Funeral Home, Galway, on Sunday 8th December, from 4pm. Please note that the new entrance to the funeral home is through the Church. (H91 FH52).
Removal at 6pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballybane. Requiem Mass for Jack on Monday 9th December at 12noon. Funeral afterwards to Lisheen Graveyard, Ballybrit.
