Sr. Bríd (Athanasius) Caulfield

Sr. Bríd, Sisters of Mercy, Stella Maria, Galway and formerly of Convent of Mercy, Tuam and Knockdoe, Claregalway died peacefully in the loving care of her community in Stella Maria on November 20th.

Predeceased by her parents Walter and Mary (nee Walshe), her brothers Martin and John and her sisters Nora (Kelly), Sr. Regina, Helena and Therese (McDonagh).

Deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her sister Sr. Margaret (Salesian Sisters, Limerick), Sisters of Mercy Western Province, in particular the community in Stella Maria, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Stella Maria, Rosary Lane, Taylor’s Hill, Galway H91 XY93 from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm on Friday 22nd. Arrival on Saturday 23rd at Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Tuam.
