“Orville” New Avenue, Rahoon Road, Galway and formerly of Barnett Street, The Strand, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Mary passed away peacefully from this life on Thursday 20th February, in her 74th Year, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her loving parents Thomas and Bridget Day.

Mary will be so dearly missed by her loving husband Paul, children Majella and Paul Jnr., sister Annie, son-in-law Danny, much loved grandchildren Freya, Conan, Odin and Elva, sister-in-law Ann, brothers-in-law Dermot, Edwin and the late Gerard, godchildren Michelle and Yvonne, extended family, beautiful friends and neighbours.

The family will be forever grateful to our lovely public health nurse Bríd Hennelly, Shantalla Clinic, Occupational therapist Róise Daly, Dr. Pat Waldron and the wonderful Galway West Hospice Team.

Reposing in Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Sunday 23rd February from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral cortège will leave from her residence on Monday 24th February at 10.30am to walk to The Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway for requiem mass at 11am. After Mass, the funeral will proceed to Rahoon Cemetery where our beloved Mary will be laid to rest.
